Winpop Plus allows a user to popup
instant messages, group chat, remote control, remote run, open documents, sends urls and
close tasks on multiple computers over the network. Winpop Plus leverages the existing
network directory to send messages and chat with users on a Netware Bindery, NDS, Windows
NT Domains or Windows peer networks from the Network Neighborhood. Unlike other
products which require a host server to relay messages, Winpop Plus is a self-contained
application.
Winpop Plus' powerful network engine
supports Windows 95, 98 and Windows NT workstations connected to the network using Netware 3.x Bindery, Netware 4.x and IntranetWare (Bindery and NDS), Windows NT
servers and Windows peer networks from the Network
Neighborhood. Winpop actions can be directed at individual users, network groups,
computers, workgroups, servers, organizational units and domains. Unlike other
products, Winpop Plus actually displays all available directories on your network.
Winpop Plus now includes an easy configuration
control panel that allows the administrator to actually customize Winpop Plus to meet your
network's exact requirements!
Winpop Plus remote control can remotely
control the display, keyboard and mouse of up to 64 computers at the same time!
Winpop Plus provides all these capabilities,
operates under Windows 95, 98 and Windows NT, is designed to work under Netware 3.x,
Netware 4.x, IntranetWare and Windows NT server and communicates over IPX/SPX and TCP/IP
to provide maximum flexibility.
 Winpop Plus requires the IntranetWare
Client or Client 32 for Netware support. Winpop Plus will not provide
Netware support on the Microsoft NDS Client.
