The Inter - University Chess Tournament

The First Inter-Uni. Tournament in a long time took place on Saturday 28th February.
It consisted of 21 teams, from 9 different Universities, due to others pulling out at different stages of the preparation.

Results

The first two rounds were played as a jamboree, with the teams then being split into 4 All-Play-All leagues.

Best Individual: Oh wow it was I, Dan Lambourne, with 6 / 6. As far as we know nobody else got 100% from that many games without byes, so I won it.

 Congratulations to our B, C & D teams. If only Oxford had not have turned up we may have got a clean sweep of the teams, actually we would have only got a clean sweep if Manchester and Leeds had not have turned up as well. So instead I'll blame the other players in our A-Team apart from me, for not achieving my high standards. Its not too much to ask is it?
