Materials : Small amount WW yarn
Size H hook
Finished Size : 8" Square
Stitches used : ch, sl st, sc, long sc, hdc,dc, fpdc,tr, fptr,
Instructions:
Ch 4 sl st to first ch to form a round.
Rnd 1: ch3 , 2dc ch3, (3dc ,ch3) 3 times. Join with sl st to beg ch3.
Rnd 2: sl st in next 2 dc and in ch3 sp Ch3,2dc,ch2 , 3dc in same ch3 sp, ch1, * Dc in next dc,fpdc in next
Dc, Dc in next dc ,ch1, 3dc,ch3,3dc in next ch3 sp,ch1 Repeat from * around join with sl st in
beg ch3.
Rnd 3: sl st in next 2 dc and in the ch2 sp, ch3, dc, ch2 ,2dc in same sp, ch1, *dc in ch1 sp ,fpdc in next dc,
dc in Fpdc, fpdc in next dc , dc in ch1 sp,ch1 ,2dc,ch2,2dc in next ch2 sp,ch1. Repeat from *
around. Join with sl st to top of beg ch3.
Rnd 4: Sl st in next dc and in ch2 sp. Ch3 ,dc ,ch2,2dc in same ch2 sp. Ch1, *dc in ch1 sp,fpdc in next
st,dc in next 3 sts, fpdc in next st,dc in ch1 sp, ch1, 2dc,ch2,2dc in next ch2 sp. Repeat from *
around . Join to beg ch3.

Beg ch3 .

Rnd 9: ch1, sc in same st as joining,sc ,*sc in each st and 3 sc in the corners. Repeat from *around . join
To beg sc.
Finish off and weave in the ends.
Notes:
Long Sc: Insert hook in st indicated in 2 rounds below the current round and pull up a loop. Complete as
A regular sc.
FPDC : yo, insert hook front to back around the post of the st indicated ,(it looks like the hook is lifting
the dc J) pull up a loop, (yo and pull through 2 loops) 2 times
