Walkthrough Video
This is a walkthrough of Ultima IX: Ascension by Lord British Himself. It highlights many of
the game's features including: Character Creation, The Ways of Magic, Combat Techniques, and
more. The running time for the video is 6 minutes, 5 seconds so obviously the file size is going to be large.
You do, however, have some options. The video is available in either Quicktime or MPEG. The Sorensen video
codec used by Quicktime 4 allows the highest quality playback at the smallest file size, therefore it is
recommended. The first MPEG is about the same quality, but at a much larger file size. Thirdly, we have included
an alternate MPEG file that is of fairly decent quality at 320x240, but less so in full-screen mode. We hope you
enjoy this tour of what awaits you in Ultima IX: Ascension!
