Where
are you on satellite? Our signal's disappeared...
We
ceased broadcasting in analogue on Astra 1A
at 19.2°E on Sunday 1st July.
Virgin
Radio on Astra 1A was transmitted on a Sky News
audio subcarrier, which has ceased broadcasting on
that satellite. We were the first national radio service
to start on this satellite - and the last to leave.
However,
we are still freely available in digital on two satellites
which cover Europe.
You'll
find us in stereo on Astra 2A at 28.2°E,
on 12.324V 27500 2/3. If you've a SkyDigital box,
you'll find us on channel 857. This service also contains
more information about our programming.
Satellite
enthusiasts can also find our transmitter feed on
Sirius 2 at 4.8°E 12.453H 18056 3/4 in
mono (full bandwidth).
Both
services are FTA and are available without subscription.
