BRIEF BIO
My name is Alicia Banks. I am a native of Chicago,
Illinois via somewhere in Africa. I am an afrocentric
activist, a DJ, an author, a radio producer,a talk
show host, a columnist, a lesbian, and a Leo. I am a
proud resident of Little Rock, Arkansas.
"Les Chanteueses Africaines", my unique radio
experience, has been a legendary hit since 1989. It
features the musical and literary voices of Black
women with creative, political, and sexual
diversity.
I am the only out lesbian in America to host a
prime-time, daily, commercial AM radio talk show.
Outlook features radical talk for revolutionary
intellectuals.
I will soon publish an anthology of my columns.
Thank you for reading my work.
