| Rule 1. The Purpose of the Game |
| The puropose of Slayers Fight is that two players play the game as the characters in the Slayers world, and enjoy the story with the concept of Slayers. |
| Lina : The word "TCG" means "Trading Card Game". So, this is the game with the cards. Gourry : But this game is different from the trump card game. Lina : Playing this game, the players can be the characters in the Slayers and can enjoy the story. Gourry : Yes, the story is exciting, but the battle was more exciting! Lina : You can enjoy the Slayers story, and you can enjoy the battle at the same time! Double pleasure! Ameria : Collecting the beautiful cards is also fan! So, you can find your own way to enjoy the Slayers Fight. |
| Rule 2. The Types of the Cards |
| There are five types of cards in Slayers Fight. Character Card = The cards of the characters that appeared in the Slayers novels, TV anime, OVAs, or the motion pictures. Those characters will be the friends or foes. Spell Card = The cards of the magic spells that the characters can use. Some of them can be used to protect, not only to attack. Assist Attack Card = The cards that can help the characeters in the battle against the enemies. Event Card = The cards of the event that happened in the Slayers novels, TV anime, OVAs, or the motion pictures. With these cards, the player can make the table turn to let him lead the game. Client Card = The card stands for the player in the Slayers world. With this card, the game goes on. |

| Rule 4. Conditions for the Victory |
| The player who got 10 marks earlier than the opponent will be the winner. The ways to get the mark are below. To defeat the opponent's character by the character in the player's side's field. ---> In this case, the player earns the mark as same as the level of the defeated character. To attack the opponent's client. ---> In this case, the player earns 1 mark per his character who has attacked. To achieve the purpose of the player's client. ---> In this case, the player earns the mark, indicated on the client card. |
| Rule 5. The End of the Game |
| When one of the 2 players has earned 10 marks by his ending phase, he'll be the winner, and the game ends with his ending phase. When both players have consumed their library, the game ends even if none of them has earned 10 marks. In this case, the player who has gotten the higher mark will be the winner, and if their scores are the same, the game ends in a draw. |

| The player plays the game with one dech of 40 pieces of cards plus one client card. |

| If there is no instruction, the player can have 4 pieces of cards with the same card name in one deck. |

Gourry : What is the deck? Lina : When you play the TCG, you need to prepare your own cards, and those prepared cards are the deck. You must select 40 pieces of card in order to play Slayers Fight. Zel : To tell the truth, I enjoy more making the deck than playing the game. Lina : There are many people who think like Zel. When you select the cards, you think hard about the opponent's tactics, and you make up your mind how you will play the game. In other words, your deck is your mission. So, making the deck is the most exciting part of the TCG. Gourry : How many of what card shall I have in my deck? Lina : Well... I recommend to have 18 pieces of character cards inprinciple. The other cards will be different according to your client card. Zel : For example, the stamina performance and the common sense performance are made for the event cards. The popurality, knowledge, and magic are made for the spell cards. Lina : So, I recommend you to have 18 pieces of character cards, and to select other 22 pieces of cards, considering how the card work well with your character cards. |
| Lina-chan's Explanation about Terms 1. Character Name |
Hello everybody! In Slayers Fight, there are several cards with my name, "Lina", e.g. "Critical Lina-chin" or "Hungry Lina-chin". They are different card, but all of them are the same character, me! So, we regarad that those cards have the character name of "Lina". In ther world, there is only one Lina Inverse, so, you can have only one character card that has the character name "Lina" in your field at one time. If you place two or more character cards that all have the character name "Lina" in your field, it means that there are two or more of me! It's impossible! The same theory is applied to the character cards of Gourry, Zel, Ameria, Naga, Xelloss, Luke, or Milina. You'd better to be careful when you play the game with those cards. By the way, the cards of "Critical Lina-chin" and "Hungry Lina-chin" have different card name. So, we can count these cards as the different cards. In the deck of Slayers Fight, you can have 4 pieces of the character cards with the same card name, so, you will be able to have 4 pieces of "Critical Lina-chin" cards and 4 pieces of "Hungry Lina-chin" cards in your deck at the same time.
