Big Pig

As if there are not enough problems for the police and the courts to deal with in this country, we now have justifiably angry farmers being arrested for aptly accusing our President of being an outlaw and a thief. Le Lagader is alleged to have used language 'demeaning to the Head of State.' In a genuine democracy you can't keep running around arresting people all over the place for libel or slander if what they say is true. But Zimbabwe is Mugabe's Animal Farm where the pigs are more equal than everyone else and where the pigs own the land and determine their distribution!

As Big Pig, our President determines who shall belong on his national farm, Zimbabwe gays and lesbians do not qualify. To use his own words from 1995 'they are worse than dogs and pigs'. So, to mix our metaphors slightly, 'there we have it from the horse's mouth.' Big Pig confirmed this in Namibia in 1998 when he said everyone had rights on His Zimbabwe farm - except gays! As to where he got the authority to make such a pronouncement we can promptly guess. And to Mr. Le Lagader, why on earth should you grovel to the Attorney General and apologise for stating the obvious?
