Tsvangirai welcomes gays and lesbians into MDC

According to City Vision, a South African based publication, the leader of the Movement for Democratic Change, Morgan Tsvangirai, stated that 'the MDC would always welcome gays and lesbians as long as they respect the laws of Zimbabwe.' Tsvangirai also said that the MDC 'will not be legislating against those who have a different sexual orientation. They will always be welcome as long as they respect the laws and public policy of Zimbabwe.' Elections are held in Zimbabwe on June 24 and 25
