Ambrosii Magi Hortus Rosarum

Gnosticism requires no faith, but an honest investigation into experience.  From this comes the knowledge (Gnosis!) that you yourself are god of very god and living amongst gods.  This is the summit of human evolution.  And it’s key is a ‘knowledge of the heart’ obtained by learning to live in a world of contending forces; gods striving amongst other gods to establish each their own reign in this universe of time.  To accomplish this, the formula must include love as its foundation to guide the will forward in life. This is the key, that the soul isn’t just something rewarded or punished when you die as has been told to us for centuries.  Rather, it is something that must be nurtured and developed to bring wholesomeness and meaning to this life and our experience in it.  Indeed it has its own nature that needs to be brought forth and expressed.  Life then is measured not by what we believe in, but by what we do.  We take responsibility for ourselves, first and foremost.  Only then can we reach out in community and communion with others. This is the way of the gardener who plants a seed in the heart of life.  The seed is watered, germinates and grows to a full garden.  The nectar of life is taken from the flowers that flourish therein.  A fine ambrosia is made from its fruit; such an ambrosia hailed by the ancients as the nectar of the gods.  Consider a rose that grows on a cross of light at the heart of our being.  One who contemplates this is called a Rosicrucian.  And our assembly of such gods who would consider this is called a Rosicrucian Mass. At major issue today is the superstition given to us by the institutionalized religions in our culture.  Intelligent people not only see a lacking of common sense but also find no heart and no soul in the moral whining that is extended from the pulpit of these established houses of “worship.”  Indeed, they can’t see any love for any god that compels such worship under threat of torture and ‘eternal damnation.’  And they don’t understand why such a god would be keeping such close tabs on their ‘good’ and ‘bad’ behavior. It seems a given and obvious truth that we each need to pursue our own dreams and ambitions and that such dreams are our birthright.  We hold this truth to be self-evident and the rights that need to be enforced to manifest this will as inalienable.  The right to happiness and the right to property are beacons that shine like the Statue of Liberty, holding up her lamp in the hearts of all humanity.  Happiness is the manifestation of Love and property is the manifestation of Will.   Our formula is Love under Will.  So you’ll hear us recite these two mantras:Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.Love is the law, love under will. In the Greek language, Thelema translates as Will or Will of God.  And Agape translates as Love or Universal Love.  This should help you to get greater insight into the nature these two mantras.  Love is the fabric of the Universe itself and Will is the expression of divinity; the Fiat L.V.X. or ‘command of light.’  We are light beings and the stuff that stars are made of.  To hold this in the foreground of our attention in each moment of every day is truly divine grace.
