Zoning Code Sec. 122-774, which prohibits sex shops and pawn shops from opening within 1000 feet of each other.

Dislike

Ordinance NO. 87-117 which bans head shops in Ypsilanti. Ann Arbor, Lansing, Brighton, and even Grand Rapids have head shops. Are we legislating morality?

The graveyard on River Street has a spot at the back where there is a tree stump on which one can sit and overlook a valley. Trees at the low level block a view of the Huron River, but it is there, somewhere in the distance. One can sit an meditate, relax, and, if a fit of depression strikes, tumble down the hill into the valley.

Ypsilanti, minus potential muggings (late night walks are discouraged), is a great place to walk. Many beautiful streets with old houses and cool views are located where you least expect them. Eastern Michigan's Campus is a nice place to walk, as well.
