Announce Intent to Merge
In a joint announcement the MPLS & Frame Relay Alliance and The ATM Forum
unveiled plans to form a single organization to advance the deployment of
multi-vendor, multi-service, packet-based networks, associated applications and
interworking solutions.

ATM & MPLS Technologies
discusses the search for an optimal integrated solution, and how to create a
convergence blueprint that can be used to implement service provider specific
networks, and to identify and deliver the standards needed to do this

International Conference on
Communiation & Broadband Networking (ICBN '04)
The ATM Forum sponsored the ICBN'04 held in
April 7-9, 2004 in Kobe, Japan. The theme of the ICBN '04 was communications
and networking technologies that facilitate "Seamless Global Connectivity
and Services Anywhere, Anytime." Program presentations and tutorials are now available.
