CNR Railway Station - HOPE, B.C.

Table of Contents
During the early development of small towns in Canada, railway stations became the centre of social activity. Stations acted as a gathering place for Sunday parishioners who had no church, a meeting place for locals to chat, and a learning place for people to integrate with the outside world. Although lines have been derailed and train travel has declined, the CNR Railway Station in Hope, B.C. continues to be a community place for locals and visitors.
