Well, I knew it would come down to this. Adam, the lazy ass that he is, with his lame excuses has been booted from FNBH Productions. And I noticed, as soon as I booted his candy little rump, production at the offices of FNBH Studios nearly tripled! And as a result, I am able to stand here, and tell you - at long last - Episode 20 has been completed! And more so, Episode 20 is now available for release!

So come get you some much needed NeN goodness!

Neverending Nights - Episode 20: Variety is the Spice of Life... (Right Click, Save As... 26.1 Megs)! In this episode, Peter and Grayson discuss the matters of money and how to spend it - and from where they stand - they can see the "Dragon Cave!" The end of their quest is nearly at hand! Meanwhile, not too far away in the Plains of Desolation, Andrea and Daniel make an appearance and explain why they're there - and run into some... unexpected company! A mere 26.1 Megs of goodness! You know you want to download it!

PS: Unfortunately, I had to rehire Adam for the FNBH Studios staff, as the Studio is at his house, as is the recording equipment, with a slight fact that he pays for the domain (hey, do I still owe you for this year?!), and because, no matter how lazy he is - and no matter how much of a delay he causes Episodes to be released - he's still an all right guy.

I guess.

First of all…

Tawmis, you and Adam are a great team!

You are like Butch Cassidy & Sundance Kid, Calvin and Hobbes, Fish & chips, Sherlock Holmes & Dr. Watson, Pepsi and Coke, Frodo Baggins & Sam Gamgee…

Please erase the Frodo Baggins & Sam Gamgee part…

Our Heroes are near their objective… But so are their enemies…

Like the title states: “Variety is the Spice of Life… And Death”!

Peter and Grayson are preparing themselves for the ultimate attack that may have as a result lots of gold coins or a painful death.

In this Episode we have a bit of a Quentin Tarantino´s touch, when our Heroes are discussing salt.

Example from a Quentin Tarantino´s movie:

Vincent: And you know what they call a... a... a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Paris?

Jules: They don't call it a Quarter Pounder with cheese?

Vincent: No man, they got the metric system. They wouldn't know what the fuck a Quarter Pounder is.

Jules: Then what do they call it?

Vincent: They call it a Royale with cheese.

Jules: A Royale with cheese. What do they call a Big Mac?

Vincent: Well, a Big Mac's a Big Mac, but they call it le Big-Mac.

Jules: Le Big-Mac. Ha ha ha ha. What do they call a Whopper?

Vincent: I dunno, I didn't go into Burger King.

But what about the villains? Andrea and Daniel decided to take a shortcut to the Dragon’s cave… That may result in a shortcut to their deaths.

But as Andrea stated if there is one thing that people should fear, it’s her.

But what about the monstrosity that has appeared and attacked the villains? Will the villains die? Will the villains kick some monster’s arse?

And what about Pawl The Dorf? Will the poor bugger survive a family reunion?

And so we are closer to the end…

But will it be the end of our Heroes? We will have to wait and see!

Grizzled Dwarflord's Top Ten Things a Ranger can do better than a Fighter/Rogue

10. Know the answer invariabley to the age old question, "If a tree falls in the forest..."

9. Pick wildflowers.

8. Hug trees with both hands and still have a 10 Dex.

7. Distinguish between a luna moth and a butterfly.

6. Knows the secret spot where bears do their #2 business.

5. Can self-Grease to alleviate armor chafing.

4. Convince badgers that the world is in peril and that they are the only hope.

3. Can survive endlessly off of a bee's bladder and a borrowed acorn.

2. Evince a disdain for cities while still relying on them for equipment and information.

1. And the number one thing that Rangers can do better is ,<drumrolll> find themselves time and time again in Brokeback Mountain scenarios.

OK specific comments about the episode:

Adm was much louder than Tawmis, at least on my laptop
It ended really abruptly "Oh look an eye, hack, flee, end" Really odd.

Otherwise nice episode.

Oh one more thing, Adam sounded grumpy as all hell in that episode Shocked

Heh, Adam's typically louder than I am. His voice (even for the character) has far more bass, and my voice doesn't - especially since I even try to up the "pitch" of the character's voice - so there's definitely a contrast between the two, that makes Adam typically sound louder. Very Happy

Well, don't think it's the last we have seen of the Eye Tyrant... Very Happy There's still Episode 21 to go...! Wink

And Adam's character SHOULD sound grumpy all the time - seriously, if ye had to travel around with someone like Peter the Ranger, completely lost, wouldn't you be a bit pissed? Very Happy

As said above the ending was kind of odd....I'm also surprised that you used the eye tyrant from the CEP instead of the one from HOTU.

Other than that, another good episode. Smile

Good episode. Not the best one I'v eseen, but it's got some good stuff too it. The ending did confuse me a bit though, as I wasn't sure what was going on. Still, good episode. Funny and plot revealing. I liked it.

The reason I used the CEP Beholder was because it's MUCH larger than the HOTU version of the Beholder. So for those distant shots, the HOTU Beholder easily blended away with the background. So using the CEP one made it much more visible.

Aye, the Druegar. Smile

And Bleh eh? Smile By Zues, feel free to let us know what could have been done to improve the episode - what ye thought might have added to it.

I have a qualm with the Beholder ending, and the voice (had to modify the voice, because it sounded too much like Mario's voice for Daniel) - er, speaking of that - I totally didn't give him credit for doing the Beholder voice! - but yeah, that scene is something I'd like Adam to refilm when we do it (cuz in the original film he handed me Andrea kills the Beholder... and we need it alive) Very Happy So I had to refilm that ending fight scene bit, which explains why it sucks. (I don't have the camera eye that Adam does!)

Well, it is a rather ugly creature. Very Happy

How do you mean "messed up"?
