In Ireland the ratings for Lost have been very good even better than Desperate Housewives. It airs at 10PM on RTÉ 2.
We are up to Episode 8 Confidence Man .

UK Launch Date For Lost

Channel 4 confirms 'Lost' launch date

Channel 4 has finally set a date for the premiere of Lost in the UK.

The cult show, which has already wrapped its first season in the States, will occupy the Desperate Housewives timeslot - Wednesdays at 10pm - from August 10.

Also akin to Desperate Housewives, new episodes of Lost will premiere on E4 immediately after the Channel 4 episode ends.

Channel 4 has already kickstarted its promotional campaign in cinema theatres and intends to launch TV teaser commercials shortly.

On Saturday, July 16th, Lost will have a very nice showing at Comic-Con International! If you don't know, Comic-Con is the biggest convention of it's kind in the United States, and last year 'Lost' was previewed for the first time.

LOST Promo Doing The Rounds In The UK

Anonymous writes "Saw a preview of War of the Worlds as was excited to see a promo for LOST. As a UK viewer who has been watching the show via downloading the episodes and enjoying the wonder that it is LOST, i got excited and started prodding my brother going "It's LOST, LOST!" much to the bemusement of the other patrons.

Anyway, it features the cast in fancy evening wear, dancing round the wreckage, the women with smudged make up with voices overs from each of the characters saying things like "One of us is a martyr", "One of us is a criminal", "One of us is a deliquent" etc

Very exciting, but with the dancing, probably gave the wrong impression about what the show is about. Either way, the promo has started showing on Ch.4 so British viewers, keep an eye out!"

a success on its first primetime night in Spain!

Anonymous writes "Almost 3.000.000 people saw LOST 'perdidos' on its first night on primetime with the episodes 'solitary' and 'raised by another'.

The show was released in Spain one month ago by TVE but being aired on Sunday’s afternoons at 19:00h getting an audience over the 2.250.000 people.

Finally TVE decided to air LOST ‘perdidos’ from Sunday’s afternoon to Thursday’s primetime (22:00h) against (among others) shows as without a trace 'sin rastro', 24 and the beginning of the 4th season of the spanish version of American Idol “Operacion Triunfo”, which was the only thing that overcame LOST!!

From now on TVE is gonna air two episodes of LOST ‘perdidos’ every Thursday night.
I know in US it got over 20.000.000 people seeing the show, but Spain is smaller and 3.000.000 on its first night and against "OT" it’s a great success!
I wanna see more!!"
