Lost keeps everyone in the dark
Posted by gertiebeth
Friday, December 02 @ 02:25:44 CST - 3718 reads

THE cast of hit US TV show Lost are kept in the dark on future script developments, just like the rest of us.

With the show well into production on its second series, creators JJ Abrams, Damon Lindelof and Jeffrey Lieber haven't given much away.

"They really don't tell us anything," said Yoon-jin Kim, who plays Korean housewife Sun Kwon on the show.

"As soon as we get the script, that's when we find out what things will happen.

"For parts of the (series one) finale, some pages we weren't even allowed to see. We were told to call one of the executive producers to find out. It is all about secrets and that is part of Lost."

Two 'Lost' stars arrested for DUI
Posted by gertiebeth
Friday, December 02 @ 02:13:33 CST - 2450 reads

Two stars of the Hawaii-based show "Lost" has been arrested.

Police say they were drinking and driving after midnight on the windward side.

Two actresses from the hit show were arrested for driving under the influence. They were in separate cars.

It's the second DUI offense for one of them.

Michelle Rodriguez plays tough girl Ana Lucia on the popular show.

Cynthia Watros portrays newcomer Libby.

According to police, the two were pulled over around 12:35 Thursday morning in Kailua.

Each posted $500 bail and were released.

The Los Angeles agency representing Watros had no comment. We haven't heard back yet from the Rodriguez team.

But this isn't her first run-in with the law.

Rodriguez was arrested over a fight with a roommate. She's been in trouble for hit-and-run and DUI in Hollywood, and was ordered into a three-month alcohol program. Rodriguez is no stranger to Hawaii -- she also starred in the North Shore flick "Blue Crush."

Police in Hawaii have been on closer lookout for drunk drivers since the state launched a program called 52/12 this year.

Drunk driving arrests are up, around 3,000 so far this year -- make that 3,002.

Hanso Foundation Website hidden fax...

Anonymous writes "Well...not sure if anyone has found this out yet or not.
But if you go to the Hanso Foundation website, http://www.thehansofoundation.org/alvarhanso.html, then just wait...maybe 2 minutes or so - or this might work too: click on the Terms of Use link at the bottom under the copyright stuff - which will open a new window. Let that window load, then close it. When you get back to the Hanso Foundation page there's now a copy of a confidential fax from the Global Health Organization.

I'm not too sure what this all means...not sure how it's related to the Dharma industries either...but I found it interesting and it's maybe worth looking more into!

Gary writes "According to several different sources, the ABC hit Television Drama, "Lost", will be going on hiatus, or taking a break. This break will conclude on January 11th, 2006, with a brand new Eko-centric episode entitled "The 23rd Psalm". This episode will shed more light on why the character took a mysterious 40-day vow of silence, and possibly information on his stick. Producers say it "Has it's own flashback", so we will keep looking! "Lost" airs Wednesday's at 9:00pm EST on ABC."

Lost
Is that pseudo IM really saying that Walt is on the other end of the computer line? Or is this just another bit of island generated wackiness on a place that already has polar bears, monsters and horses, (oh my)? I know the bit of respliced in tape — thanks Mr. Eko for that and the biblical lesson — said that they shouldn't attempt to use the computers to communicate with the outside world, but really who is to be trusted on this place? And if Sayid really did see Walt, something really nutty is going on here. Especially since Kate wasn't the only one that saw that beautiful black stallion that had saved her life once before when she was first on the run from the law – when she was 24, which is 42 backwards and which means… I still haven't got a clue. I never really pictured her as the scrapbooking type — but I am impressed that she put together the pieces and did the math that her "dad" was in Korea until four months before she was born and without current technological advances him being her biological father was pretty damned impossible. No wonder she had to kill that sleazy Wayne when she uncovered the truth. Not that killing someone is ever the right solution, but when your already disgusting dad starts hitting on you? Ick. Did anyone else get a bit teary eyed watching Jin and Sun cling to each other while Sayid was digging Shannon's grave? No? How about when Sayid gave his emotionally charged eulogy. Yeah, I thought so. But the sweetly dramatic scenes also led to some funny moments — which have been missing in the last few heavily intense episodes. Like Hurley saying, "So… Rose's husband is white. I didn't see that coming." Or Sawyer waking up in the shelter saying, "Am I un a bunkbed? Are we saved?" His optimism wasn't squashed until Kate finally brought the patient outside into the jungle. Even Jack had some fun telling Ana about not trying to convince him that all women weren't crazy. A fair reaction to Kate's hit and run kiss. And I think his comment actually might have made Ana crack a smile… now that's very interesting. — Angel Cohn
