TAM informs that it received, at the end of this afternoon (August 4), the last directions and guidance from the Office of Public Safety of the State of São Paulo to undertake the demolition of the building located at Avenida Washington Luiz, 7.305.

TAM Explanation on insurance
Regarding the incorrect news that has been published by the media, TAM explains that compulsory insurance and compensation are absolutely distinct from each other, with no relation between the payments made to the beneficiaries in connection with each of them.

With regard to the Supplementary Information (IS-RBHA No. 121-189), we would like to clarify that this proposal of IS has never been converted into a rule, according to the National Agency of Civil Aviation (ANAC) and, therefore, has never been either directed to or imposed upon any airline.
