3rd-Party 802.1x Supplicants
Note: The 3rd-party 802.1x supplicants referenced below have not been tested with the Feather network and are provided for informational purposes only.
Please consult your supplicant's support documentation for instructions on how to apply the configuration settings below to connect to the Feather network securely.
The proper connection parameters for the Feather Network are:
SSID: FeatherSecureLogin Name: [username@featherwifi.net] Your Feather Login Name
Password: [password] Your Feather Password
Security type: WPA - Enterprise (EAP)
Data encryption for WPA: TKIP - Temporary Key Integrity Protocol
EAP Type: PEAP or EAP-TTLS
Authentication Method: MSCHAPv2 or CHAP
Outer Authentication Protocol: Anonymous (or blank)
Server Certificate Validation (Optional): Yes/Validate - Secure Server Certification Authority
Note: The FeatherSecure signal is not broadcast. You may need to select an option in your software which instructs the software to look for and/or connect to non-broadcast signals.
