War veterans rallied on Hero Square today. The protest was organized by several non-governmental organizations. The protestors were objecting to the last night incident, when the police dispersed the veteran`s rally and arrested several protestors.

Seven years have passed since the election of Mikheil Saakashvili as the president of Georgia. After the Rose Revolution in 2003, Mikheil Saakashvili won the majority of votes in the early presidential elections, which was held on January 4, 2004. 

Georgia`s credit rating improved

Georgia`s Credit Rating has been improved in 2010. Standard & Poor`s has published the annual rating of the countries, in which Georgia`s former B category has been changed to B+. Transfer and Convertibility Assessment rating has been also improved from BB- to BB index.
