President Yahya Jammeh yesterday appointed Lamin Karba Bajo, the new secretary of state for Foreign Affairs.
Reconstituting his cabinet, President Jammeh also re-appointed Musa Bala Gaye as the new secretary of state for Trade, Industry and Employment, and Neneh Macdouall-Gaye as secretary of state for Information, Communication and Technology.
SoS Bajo had served as the commissioner for Western Division under the AFPRC Junta, before he was appointed secretary of state for the Interior. He had also served as the secretary of state for Local Government, Lands and Religious Affairs, before he was appointed Gambian ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
SoS Bala Gaye, on the other hand served as the secretary of state for Finance and Economic Affairs, befor he was appointed as the Foreign Affairs Secretary. Please login or register to add comments |
