ABIOGENESI

"Abiogenesi"

(Black Widow,1995)

Italian band of the label Black Widow, with a sound very retro like their label partners, Standarte.

The style of Abiogenesi is basically on time slow, quite dark and dark, and the sound this dominated mainly by the keyboards and low notables. I would say that influenced by some of the first Italian bands, Abiogenesi reminds me overalls to the group Edgar Allan Poe, and other influences, recognized by the same group, they come on the part of primitive bands as Black Widow (this time I refer to the group called this way), of those who make a version of the theme "In Ancient Days", translated here to Italian and titled "La Notte di Ognissanti".

The album this constituted basically by themes between 9 and 11 minutes, with long instrumental developments and prevalence of the very typical organ atmospheres of the first ones 70. Some themes are worth enough the pain like "Abiogenesi" or the instrumental part of "L'Oscura Tenebra".

In summary, a good premiere album.
