CENTROZOON

"Sun Lounge Debris"
(2002)

Clocking in about 56 minutes, this album will keep the mind calm and the aural pleasure domes of your ears well pleased. One of the stand-out tracks of the 6 track CD is "Harvest Girls". The tracks begins almost abruptly sending the listener to a soundscape of heavenly sounds to make you feel you are in the outer reaches of the uncharted universe. You hear what appears to be whispering angelic hosts then suddenly the Voice speaks. As Wostheinrich keeps the synthesized sounds going, Reuter breaks in with a beautifully, ever-so slightly distorted touch guitar solo that sings and seems almost reminiscent of a guitarist/composer Trevor Rabin guitar solo in style. As much as "Harvest Girls" is worthy to stand alone, one must not passover the remaining 5 tracks that transport the listener to and from many scenes in the theatre of their own mind.
Centrozoon's "Sun Lounge Debris" is worthy of a listen. So play the CD, grab the headphones, relax and enjoy.
