The first phase of the career of Espiritu concluded with this its second vinyl; to be more exact, the band was already dissolved in the time in that this disk came out for sale, although it had already been presented openly in its last recitals, as the columnists of the time count, with an ambitious visual concept related with the musical content. The disk consists (the same as "Crisalida") in a spun sequence of eight tracks.

Basically, Espiritu is devoted to continue exploring in its melodic symphonic wave of introspective orientation, adding in this occasion elements of jazz rock and enhancing the aggressiveness of the electric parts. Thanks to this, the contrast is increased between the most intrepid sections and those but relaxed, rebounding in a more notorious sound wealth. The entrance of the new keyboardist facilitated the introduction of fresh ideas in the sound of the band. The general result of the sound production spreads toward the rough thing, without hiding with it the technical cleaning of the instrumental executions and vowels.
For the thematic side, the songs of  "Libre y Natural" transmit a pessimistic and disenchanted message, because it seems to be but centered in denouncing the moral miseries of the social and political environment (we keep in mind that for this time Argentina one of their worst institutional crises was living, in eves of the emergence of a new military régime). it is Also true that the same internal tensions inside the band influenced in the somber emotivity reflected in the disk.

Let us pass now to revise some of the individual pieces. "Imágenes Tenues y Transparentes" and "Deselectriza tu Mente" is the tracks that contain the most aggressive moments in the disk, jams of court coalition with strong guitar touches and keyboard, and implacable rhythmic bases; on the other hand, "Los Ecos del Silencio Interior" and the code "Final del Sol Ardiente" go but directly toward the cosmic thing. The parts but relaxed they are in the homonymous track and in "Imágenes Tenues de la Voz Interior", giving opportunity to that the vocal facet assumes the protagonism.

In summary, we have another very refined work of a certainly very talented band here, but that perhaps for their roughness it can take for surprise to those that fell fatigued before the bucolicest line in their disk premiere; but those that they like of being surprised, will probably put to "Libre y Natural" as their favorite one, and this it is in fact my case.
