InfoMatrix - a new challenge - more than you can imagine

We invite you to participate to the 5th edition of The International Project Competition InfoMatrix! InfoMatrix attracts more than four hundred young students from more than 32 countries each year to compete with the best science projects and it’s becoming more and more widely known. The contest allows students to experience five days of scientific and cultural exchange, it emphasizes the importance of science and IT, and it inspires and encourages young people to take an interest in research.

This year we prepared another challenge for you: the contest is open to university students also, but the judging will be in two sections (for university students and for high school students). For highschool section, projects will be built and presented by a team of two students. For university, only one student per project is permitted. The registration started on 1st of December 2006 and will end on March 12th, 2007 for high school students and on April 24th, 2007 for university students. The university section will contain the same categories like the high school section except  the Digital Content category (with the theme Imaginary Perfect School) that is opened only for high school students.

This contest is a chance for each of the contestants to show their skills at comprehension, analysis, problem solving, coding, debugging, resource management, self control, and communication. This is also a chance for teachers to measure the effectiveness of their teaching and leadership.

Once again, welcome and if we can do anything for you, please ask.
