Alex Carter is a down-to-earth actor, happily married father of two girls and someone who knows what it's like to juggle career and family. Alex relocated to Los Angeles from Toronto and has travelled across Canada and the United States for his professional film, TV and theatre obligations.

Trained at New York City's prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Alex has performed some of the stage's most coveted male roles, in NYC, Toronto and elsewhere, including Stanley in Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire and Chance Wayne in the playwright's Sweet Bird of Youth.

Audiences have enjoyed his recurring roles in Black Harbour, Traders and Due South among others. Alex has guest starred in innumerable TV series, including JAG, Viper, Street Legal and The Sentinel. Alex Carter's film credits include leading roles in Moonshine Highway and Taking the Heat.
