To define yourself or the world in these terms is degenerative and a form of sexual addiction. Haven't you ever heard a crack addict; their entire M/O is about crack, or what hustle they can come up with to get some. Homosexuality is the same way in many respects.
If the goal of society is to produce and to reproduce, then BGLT is ass-backwards, excuse the pun. It is not an inborn trait. It is a lifestyle issue, and a degenerate one. If I, as a man, start sucking dick tomorrow and get a sex change, what form of positive impact will that have on my community? To define me as gay is to identify me solely by sexual M/O (a dick-sucking man).
BGLT is of the same relevance as the Tupac-Tucker debate. It belongs in the dump. There is no historical relevance to being part of the BGLT culture, except it is selfish, self-absorbed and part of an alien class consciousness. It is in essence a bourgeois and petty bourgeois notion.
Indeed, the ancient Greek aristocrats were gay, and they built an imperialist army which conquered the world. To them, from Socrates and Plato to Alexander the Great, the love of a man was higher than that of a woman. They molested boys from Europe to Asia to Africa. That was the ruling class concept and M/O; the view of the slaves and peasants was to keep fucking and producing children. Eventually the pervs got overthrown.
A largest percentage of the bourgeois ruling class in the U.S. is BGLT. The wealthiest economic group is gay white males, followed by white lesbians. Tell me it's not a foreign class concept: Gay Edgar Hoover was an anti-homosexual homosexual; Janet Reno is lesbian; Bill Gates is a flamer, even if he did get married. The trend of the ruling class is to concentrate wealth, and that cannot be done through reproduction. It is a conscious and oft-times unconscionable stance assumed by them. But they do many unconscionable things.
If the oppressed Afrikan community is to throw off its shackles, the black/negro BGLT community must become politically educated and commit class suicide. A working class BGL cannot practically aspire to be Transgender, eg. Look at the economics of getting a sex change, and what can you do with one just walking around the hood? you gotta go to Hollywoood! So the working class BGL aspires to be the petty bourgeoisie or even the bourgeoisie, not to become the revolutionary working class. And in so aspiring, becomes the neo-colonialist, the class enemy of his/her own people.
BGLT derives from a sexual addiction, like child molestation or nymphomania, etc., and cannot be justified. I don't advocate witch hunts, shunning, stoning or any form of social persecution. But we must be clear.
