Bloodite Interview: Milamber
Real name : Jesse LeFort
01 What's your gaming nickname and is there any particular reason why you chose it? I use the nickname Milamber. It is the name of a character in a series of novels I read from Raymond E. Feist (Guy who wrote the Krondor Games). I chose it since I thought it was a cool name.02 Do you use a custom character config and, if so, how is it setup? Strength : 303 What weapons do you include in your arsenal? 01 : Knife04 Do you prefer bloodbath, standard teamplay or CTF? I prefer CTF. I love the feeling of a good coordinated team attack more then anything so I find Capture the flag to be the most satisfying.05 What maps are you best on? Well Blood 2 has only been in a playable form for a few days so I haven't tried all the maps. But so far I seem to perform best on the Cabana and Bodies.06 Which weapon do you think induces the most lag? From what I have seen I think it would have to be the Vulcan Cannon. Too many projectile packets for the server (or client) to handle at once.07 What is the funniest kill you've performed or received? The funniest kill I recieved was playing against the monolith guys on thier debug server. We were on the Rooftops map and one of them hit me with a napalm cannon. The explosion knocked me off of the roof I was on and down into the pits below, but instead of dying, i went into humiliation mode. Then the server crashed. It was pretty funny being stuck way down there in wonky vision.08 What's your standard way of carrying out a humiliation death? ***09 What games do you play online apart from Blood 2? Currently when I'm not bloodbathing you will see me in Starsiege Tribes (Best teamplay game out there) , Rainbow Six, and Worms 2.10 What is your all-time favourite weapon from any game? ***11 What is your all-time favourite map from any game? My all time favorite map in any game would have to be "Canyon Oasis" from LucasArt's Jedi Knight. This map had a wicked layout, it was wide open so you could always be seen and could always see your enemies, and if you wanted the best weapons you had to put yourself at major risk. It was always an intenese death match on that map.12 What do you think the future holds for Blood 2? Currently, and most unfortunately, the future for Blood 2 is looking bleak. Monolith's much awaited 2.0 patch quite frankly didnt work up to the standards they set with Shogo and the people are mad. Already all the servers that popped up on the first couple of days have dissappeared making it harder to find a match to play in. Unless Monolith hops to it and fixes this game up it will be another casultie in the First person shooter wars.13 What tips do you have to share with your fellow bloodbathers? Never underestimate the power of the assault rifle. Those 50 bullets you start with can get you 3 or 4 kills if your aim is good. When building a custom character get a picture in your mind of what you like to play. So if you like magic, give him/her 5 focus and a low strength and concentrate on using the life leech and other magic weapons. If you are a gun nut, give yourself a high strength, drop your focus to 1 and unload on everyone. The most important stat is Speed, this must be as high as you can get it. You need this to chase down opponents, run from opponents , get the flag, return the flag, etc... I always have this at 5 so nobody can escape ;-)14 How can people contact you so they may try and damage your bloodbathing prowess? (this is also the place where you can plug your sites) Excellent site. Good layout, good info, good webmasters. I wouldnt mind seeing some more bloodbath tactics up on your page, like weapon specific strategies, character profiles and the like. Other then that it is near perfect.
