Tennis Tasmania is the governing body of tennis in Tasmania. We promote and facilitate participation in tennis at all levels, and also conduct state, national and international tournaments. The most widely recognised of these include:

- McDonalds ATP Challenger International, Burnie
- Optus Junior National Points Tournaments, Statewide

Bruce Cup Team Selected
The 2008 Bruce Cup Team has been selected after trials were conducted with an amazing four out of the seven boys coming from Burnie. The Bruce Cup is a National Primary Schools Championships where seven boys and seven girls are selected to represent their State. |

Tasmanian Players Selected in Australian Merit Team
May 23 - Three Tasmanian players have been selected in the Australian Merit Team after the week long Pizzey Cup competition held recently in Western Australia. Jamie Dash, Alyssa Hibberd and Nina Khoury all received selection after notable performances throughout the week. |

Wishink Qualifies At ITF Event in Sorento, Western Australia

March 17 - Emerging tennis professionals, Anna Wishink and Andrew Roberts are both contesting the up-coming ITF event in Sorento, WA. Wishink qualified for the Women's Singles event earlier today, after a 6-1, 6-1 win over World No. 626, Shona Lee, NZ. Roberts recieved a direct entry place in the Men's Singles Main Draw. |

Kerr and Bourchier Capture Their First Clarence Open Titles
Friday, 14th March - Sunday, 16th March 2008
ROSNY PARK, March 17 - Number two seeds, Rohan Kerr and Ella Bourchier brought their best tennis to the court at the 2008 Prime Real Estate Clarence Tennis Open and took out the Singles titles. Kerr outlasted Ken Ho in the Men's final, with a thrilling 7-6(4), 7-5 win, and Bourchier defeated Alyssa Hibberd in the Women's final, 7-5, 7-5. |

2008 Tasmanian Pizzey Cup Team
Perth, WA : 3rd - 11th May 2008
March 6 - Pizzey Cup Team Trials were held on March 2nd at the Sunny Hill Tennis Club, Launceston. Secondary school students in Grade 9-13 entered the trials, with eight (8) boys and eight (8) girls selected for the Tasmanian Team. Congratulations!
