As I listened to the stylistically diverse Bridge Over TroubledWater, I began to wonder what the soulful duo were up to these days.I pictured them inside a limousine speeding down the streets of NewYork City smoking a joint - having a great old time.

Ironically this did happen recently and our big-haired friend Mr.Garfunkel was arrested at 62 years of age for marijuana possession. But as expressed in the classic song "El Condor Pasa," the duo hasalways had an affinity for herbs and the natural stuff, thus thestatement "I'd rather be a forest than a street. Yes I would if Ionly could."

But enough about the bad news. The good news is that they're bothreally, really rich, partly because of their album Bridge OverTroubled Water and its Gospel-sounding title track. Though this wastheir last effort together, Simon and Garfunkel delivered a fabulousmix of instruments in a folky/pop album.

Sometimes you want to get up, clap and dance in your own roomwhere no one will see you; if you want to do this, listen to therockabilly-inspired "Cecilia."

In the more acoustic moments of the album such as in "So Long,Frank Lloyd Wright," Simon says goodbye to his architecture -lovingfriend Garfunkel (Lloyd Wright is considered to be one of thegreatest American architects).

This is also a great album to listen to while on the road. Theheroic "Boxer" will have you singing "Lie la lie" at the top of yourlungs.

Some of the other highlights of this album include the harmonious"The Only Living Boy in New York" and an energetic live cover of theEverly Brother's "Bye Bye Love."

However, the best song to listen to while in a vehicle is theexhilarating "Baby Driver;" it made me wonder how my own enginefeels. Thanks to this song, I have to say pretty good.

I also thought to myself, "If Simon and Garfunkel were in a cartogether, who would be the driver?"

I think it would definitely be Simon because we all know whatGarfunkel would be doing in the backseat.
