Head of Beslan commission to check information on Kulaev's death

Alexander Torshin, head of the parliamentary commission on investigating the act of terror in Beslan, is going to send a request to the Chief Administration for Penitentiary Service ("GUIN") of Russia on the destiny of condemned terrorist Nurpashi Kulaev. Mr. Torshin has told today on air of "Echo Moskvy" Radio Station that he wants to confirm or refute the assumptions of Beslan victims that Kulaev is no longer alive.

The senator has noted that he himself "cannot assert anything," although, most likely, Kulaev's death "would have become known, as such things never pass unnoticed," the "Interfax" quotes Torshin.

We remind you that the victims of the Beslan act of terror ask the authority to present proofs to them that the only surviving terrorist of the school attackers is still alive.

See earlier reports: "Beslan terror act victims doubt that Kulaev is still alive."
