Much like Lex Luther or Dr. Evil, some video game villains will never abandon their plans for world domination. Knock them down, and they'll come roaring back with new schemes to eliminate their enemies. Keep chasing the dream, fellas.

Sepiroth wasn't even in that many games, so quit complaining about him already. I wish Kane would have been on here, since he techinically "died" a dozen times and came back with no reason, but w/e. 5/5 for putting Galsia up there :D

Sephiroth should have been on there. no, not because i'm a fangirl, but because he has yet to die. Cloud has killed him god knows how many times and still Seph refuses to stay dead and even VOWS to not be a memory, meaning he'll return one day.

Thank God it was "Dr. Robotnik" and not Eggman. The game started being for 13 year old furries around the time they changed his name. And I'm sorry, but when I think of iconic and persistent video game villians, I don't think of the Locusts, who have been in two games. Let's see more villians who have withstood the test of time, not ones who are featured in the most popular, mediocre shooters. Also, to the list's credit, Nazi's were a great choice.

wow... i really liked the list up until i saw "defense" on the list... defense? that's an enemy?! defense is the antigonist to offense, sure you can think like that, but defense is a position, not an entity! WTF! Whatever... i say, scratch defense and zombies, and get dr. wily on there! (shiltontwc, good call) i mean, he's only been in what, 10+ games?! Sephiroth is a SICK villian, don't get me wrong, but, not "persistent" enough. the title is "persistent" not "best"

In response to lightmycigar00: Not every list should have freakin' Sephiroth in it. If anything, he's not exactly a fantastic villian, he's generic. And all of you, they're not expecting you to agree with them, that's why it's a good list, lol.

In response to shiltontwc, Goro? Really? He's persitent? He fought one tournament as a baddy then was all like 'can't really be bothered', he even made buddies with Kung Lao at the end of MK4.

Decent list but the minions could use a better shot. Like zoom out or something. But anyways, I think the Space Invaders were crap.
