    As promised, I fixed the TyD AC ladder so it's ready for AC 1.0. The new game modes are supported now, of course. It's still 'beta' now, hopefully we won't find any major bugs.

    The ladder can still be found at http://ladder.tearyoudown.org/. The old 0.93 is still available, it moved to http://ladder.tearyoudown.org/0.93/.

    Scores have been calculated since December 1st.

    Bug reports, suggestions and comments are welcome, of course!

    makkE: not much I can do about it, especially when people use dynamic IP's. The only solution would be a central registration system in AC, I think.

    Are you going to share server the code this time around to include more servers than just the TyD ones?

    I'm thinking on writing some sort of 'contributor' script for other servers. Still need to figure out how to do that, move that data and then merge the scores, etc.

    Clown, any way you could publish the ladder data via xml as well? So we could show the top players from the tyd ladder on the ac website, if you let us do that.

    how do you gather data from serverlogs? and automatically put it in an ladder list? because we in viperbrood need a ladder for a new year cup?

    but i don't now if this is knowlegde you give to other people? idk

    but we really need it ;)

    NikolaiH: read the logs, count what happens. If you have no idea where to begin, I really don't think you should be aiming at wanting to make something like this, it's not that easy.

    I can asure you that Clown and several others people here are very busy. So if you have no time to use the provided information to create an own ladder system by yourself or there is a lack in knowledge in programming and server handling then any requests in that direction are pointless. One thing is for sure: Clown has not that time to take up that job for VB.

    driAn (and others), I've created an XML output script for the Ladder (hurray for the XML::Writer Perl module which made it so easy). I mostly used your XML scheme, some dates aren't avaiable yet, I need to figure those out.

    I wrote some documentation on it, it's available at http://ladder.tearyoudown.org/xml.html.

    I made the XML output script customizable so that other clans can use it (if their webpage/CMS supports it) to display their own specific data, like the ladder scores for their members.

    As always, feedback is welcome!

    All public TyD servers. And as a bonus, once we get a few minor issues out of the way, the public BC servers will be reporting as well!

    yea... my rank is 4222 or something...
    but thats because i've only played for a total of about 3 hours.. and very little of that was on |BC|
    or {TyD} servs. lol

    With mates we found a problem in the ladder.
    .rG!|S4nzo'' isn't listed, maybe is it because of the two ' at the end of his name ?

    1) played ever on a TyD server
    and
    2) in a match with the minimum players at the end of game
    and

    not a "blacklisted" map?

    My name is in caps in the ladder. Would it still count my scores since I like to use 4Bit/4bit [C=64] or does caps not matter? .

    Yes he already played on laddered servers.
    In matches that counted minimum players (8) at the end.
    We played all the last week-end on laddered servers with mates, you can check logs.
    I tried to find his scores in irc and ladder.tearyoudown.org, .rG!|S4nzo'' or " or `` nothing work.
    We didn't played any blacklisted map, we played official ones, on tyd and bc servers

    BC still has an issue with their logging, so those servers might not work.
    Names with ' (single quotes) in it don't work at the moment, I hope to fix that somewhere soon.

    Ladder is very well done. I'm just wondering if another point system be added for Keep CTF, holding the guarding your own flag every so many seconds giving a very minor am amount of points. Seems like a little incentive to actually hold the flag.

    The whole system though seems to be working well for me, kudos for the work.
