Arctic Monkeys Sign £1million Publishing Deal

With a label giant...

Arctic MonkeysArctic Monkeys have signed a lucrative £1million publishing deal with label giant EMI.

The Sheffield lads have also signed a £725,000 deal with Epic in America confirming that excitement around them is global.

The news comes just a day after the band played the biggest gig of their lives at the 1,200 capacity London Astoria.

As previously reported on Gigwise, the band were due to play the Mean Fiddler but were forced to upgrade the venue due to phenomenal demand.

A ‘source’ told The Star: “They’ve signed a really good record deal as Franz Ferdinand’s labelmates on Domino and they’ve just signed a massive publishing deal with EMI.

“On top of that, the Americans are interested too and they’ve signed a deal with Epic over there for £725,000.â€

The news compound predictions that the Arctic Monkeys are set to be the biggest British band since Oasis.

Catch them at a small venue if you can!
