Dr. Hornyak completed her pre-medical
studies at
Wilfrid Laurier University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Psychology. She further pursued her passion for helping
others and was accepted to the 4-year, full-time medical program at the
Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. It was
from here that she graduated with Honours as a Doctor of Naturopathic
Medicine (ND).
Dr. Hornyak is focused on assisting her
patients
to achieve optimal health by addressing the underlying cause of disease
and assessing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of
health. Through developing an individualized treatment plan, her goal
is to educate patients so they become an active participant in their
own health care. She enjoys being part of the healing process by
providing support and encouragement in order to stimulate and clear
blockages of the vital force .
Dr. Hornyak is a member of the Alumni
Association
of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, the Ontario
Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of
Naturopathic Doctors, and is registered and licensed with the Board of
Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy.

Laura Smith, R.M.T.
Regsitered Massage Therapist
Laura has always had a
particular passion in helping others and was interested in the effects
a massage can have on someone’s physical and emotional
well-being.
Laura obtained her registration for massage therapy after graduating
from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2007 and is a
member of the Ontario Massage Therapy Association. Her interest in her
prenatal clients led her to achieve a certificate in Pregnancy Massage
from Trimesters Massage Therapy Education. She has also expanded her
knowledge with a certificate in Hot Stone Therapy.
Her caring and adaptable style is part of her philosophy, which is to
tailor the massage to her clients’ healthcare needs, whether it
be for therapy or relaxation.
