International Multiple Criterion Decision Making (MCDM) Society confers the 2008 'MCDM Edgeworth-Pareto Award' to Prof. Deb.
Prof. Deb received 'Thomson Citation Laureate Award' for his most highly cited research in Computer Science during 1996-2005 by Thomson Scientific on 27 July 2006 in Bangalore. Desiraju (Chemistry), and Ashok Pandey (Biology and Biochemistry).
