I'm sure you all remember my thread about leaving for three reasons...well the third one kinda just went supernova on me.

So far this place is the only place that knows this yet, I haven't even talked to my parents about it yet.

Well here goes.

Tonight December 7, 2007, I was...proposed to. Seriously proposed. This girl, who shall remain nameless, and I have known each other for...well for a long ass time (FYI those who know me better, it isn't the crazy bitch). She and I have been spending a lot of time together...secretly...and she confided that she couldn't stand the thought of losing me to anything or anyone. Well after that she asked me to marry her. I said I would think about it.

WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO!?

I'm really split down the middle on this issue right now. I mean part of me wants to say yes, because a part of me cares a lot for this person. But another half of me says that I shouldn't because right now, I can't trust my feelings.

I've looked to Ouijia boards, the Bones, the Force, and even summoning daemons and all of them said this,"Fuck if I know."

So I consult the greatest source of knowledge in the cosmos. The community of FFOF. I just want to hear some advice. In the end I might say fuck you and do what I want to, but I'd just like to hear something intelligent from the greatest collection of righteous and kickass entities this said of the Webernet.

I dunno, what are this person like and do you suspect this proposal is out of sheer desperation or whatnot? I, and probably moast other people, have no clue really what your relationship with that particular person is, nor what that person is or is like. Ergo, we dunno .

This chick and I go out for dinner. We talked about what to really and truly expect from me. I told her that because of these past experiences with the always bitter Mage have jaded me just a bit. She told me that she doesn't care. She says that in all the years she's known me she's always seen that I'm just someone who needs a person I can trust. She swore up and down I can trust her.


I don't think the proposal is out of desperation per se, but then again it does reak of last-ditch-effort to snag me. Its a bit frightening.

As for the situation on hand, I honestly don't know what the hell's happened (sorry, Rob I know you IMed me the other day but I was asleep at the time ><) but honestly I think this would be a big mistake. Having come out of a relationship myself I know there's residual feelings that will poison a new relationship very quickly and rebound is the worst thing you can do to yourself, particularly if such a rebound came at the costly price of a divorce.

I'm saying this as a friend, take a deep breath and wait. If this chick can't wait don't bother with her because then she likely not wait for anything and why would you want a girl like that?
