Problem to be Solved:

What type of Duracell battery works best?

Hypothesis:

The Duracell Ultra will last longer than the Duracell Regular battery.

Procedure:

1] Put two AA Duracell Ultra batteries in one flashlight.
2] Put two AA Duracell Regular batteries in another flashlight.
3] Turn on the flashlights.
4] Mark down the time the flashlights were turned on.
5] Let the flashlights operate for a few hours.
6] Turn off the flashlights.
7] Record the time the flashlights were turned off.
8] Repeat above procedure on different days until the flashlight no longer illuminates.
9] Repeat all tests with six different sets of each type of battery.

Results:

After six tests with each battery, the Duracell Ultra battery lasted 18% longer on average than the Duracell Regular battery.

Conclusion:

The hypothesis that the Duracell Ultra battery would last the longer than the Duracell Regular battery was correct.

Biblical Application:

Then God said, "Let there be light", and there was light (Genesis 1:3). This means that God created light for us to see in darkness. The same is true with batteries. Man made batteries for flashlights to make light, for CD players to produce sound, and for many other products.
