In contrast to the average teenage garage band, Freshman Seika Dong’s practice sessions on her harp surely do not cause her neighbhors to complain of the noise. The harp is well known for the beauitful and haunting music that it produces. According to the experienced musician, “the harp is more sensitive to pressure you put on it, so you can express your emotions more easily.”

“Run three laps around these buildings,” were the first words Instructor Joshua Alfaro said to the members auditioning for the 2008-2009 marching band and drumline season. This year will be his third year coaching the drummers since he jumped into the marching band season in 2006.
