“Obama is an elitist,” says the man with seven houses, hoping to run for office like a political bully. “ Now stop me if I’m wrong but doesn’t elite mean…good?” asks a man behind a desk in Comedy Central’s news headquarters. “Candidates, if you don’t think you’re better than us…what on earth are you doing?” Jon Stewart’s language may have been a bit more colorful, but his argument still rings true.

The wizened white hair glistened in the blistering stadium lights as the crowd rose to its feet chanting calls of liberty. Although unknown to some, Ron Paul, a libertarian running on the Republican ticket, had come to command legions of enthusiastic supporters. His final oration coincided with that of John McCain’s acceptance speech at the 2008 Republican National Convention, yet they delivered to dissimilar audiences.
