Mountain View’s Track and Field team has succeeded in most of their competitions this season. Track and Field is off a good start this season with the hard training students are receiving from their coaches. “The team has been lifting weights three times a week, getting a full body workout with the right amount of reps,” throwing team coach, Anthony Rivera said.

NL West: The National League West is one of the most, if not the most, competitive divisions in all of baseball. Interestingly enough, the only team that doesn't have a chance to win the division is our local San Francisco Giants. The best bet would be for the Arizona Diamondbacks to repeat their success of last year and win. "They're going pretty far this year," Freshman Kevin Berchem said.

As I stepped onto the wide green golf course, I couldn’t help recalling my highly advanced miniature golf abilities. However after watching the first few drives by some of the golf team’s leading players, I realized my experience would be very different. The idea that golf is an easy sport is a commonly held myth. However as Coach Steven Miyano says simply, “Golf is the hardest game invented by man, period.”
