Tears streamed down my face as the question, “stand up if you have ever been assaulted by a man,” lingered in the air, which caused more than half of the female delegates at Camp Everytown to stand up hesitantly. Quietly, I listened to the sobs of the people sitting around me, and a strong realization of the sufferings and pain that many people had to endure slowly crept over me.
