Advent Children Blu-Ray Set For June In North America
Update: According to a recent report over at Ripten, it appears there may be hope for the FFXIII demo coming stateside...stay tuned.
Original Story:
You knew it'd be coming, but a lot of you had questions concerning subtitles, and of course, the hour-long Final Fantasy XIII demo. Well, as you probably expected, we lowly North American gamers won't be getting the latter, but there are plenty of other goodies to expect from "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children."
They have officially announced the Blu-Ray version of "Advent Children" for North America, which is scheduled to release on June 7. As it says there, we can expect beautiful 1080p visuals along with English subtitles if you wish to watch the movie in the original Japanese voices. Also included in this collection:
- "Legacy of FINAL FANTASY VII" Featurette
- "Reminiscence of FINAL FANTASY VII" Original Story Digest
- On the Way to a Smile - Episode: Denzel Animated Film
- "Reminiscence of FINAL FANTASY VII Compilation" Story Digest
- Exclusive Sneak Peek at FINAL FANTASY XIII
- Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete Trailers
So yeah, if you're a fan of the legendary franchise, you're likely to be satisfied with this assembly of extra goodies. "Advent Children" was a definite feast for the senses even before it hit Blu-Ray, so if you loved the movie and have access to high definition, this is a no-brainer purchase. It's just too bad that we can't get that demo, which is the primary reason the news of a Blu-Ray version was so huge last year. Well, we assume we'll get a chance to see a lot of that demo soon...we have the Internet, don't we?

but i do agree with the movie part of your statement
make a movie out of FFX
FFX was the best FF in my opinion
should have a ps3 remake that merges X & X-2 together into one storyline and one specific battle system
now that would be great ;)
