Welcome to the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund (Canada)
Our Founder, Nelson Mandela, asserts that "children are the rock on which our future will be built" and the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund strengthens this rock by responding to the challenges facing vulnerable children and youth in South Africa.
This response emphasizes community-based, sustainable strategies that empower children and youth to overcome challenges due to issues such as, poverty, disability, homelessness, HIV and AIDS.
The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund in Canada also provides Canadian students, youth and young professionals with leadership, volunteer opportunities, while raising awareness about the Fund, Nelson Mandela and the needs of children and youth in South Africa.
