Free Manuscript Paper

You need never pay for manuscript again! We have a range of manuscript "papers" that you can download for free and then print on your own printer. And we offer some types of manuscript that you won't see often (if ever) in stores!

Most of our manuscript pages are available in both A4 and Letter paper sizes. The score sheets are available in A3 or Tabloid paper sizes. Feeling overwhelmed by the choices? No problem. Just ask, and we will help you make a selection.

Standard

Plain staves without clefs. This is our most popular download. (The large staff version is good for use in classrooms, and the "huge" staff better for younger children).

Standard (with Guitar TAB)

Each "stave" is a system of 2 staves: the top staff contains no clefs, the lower staff is guitar TAB.

Treble Clef (with 7-String Guitar TAB)

Each "stave" is a system of 2 staves: the top staff contains a treble clef, the lower staff is 7-string guitar TAB. (See our notes below on 7-string TAB)

Piano

Each "stave" is a pair of braced staves with a treble and a bass clef (also known as a "grand staff").

Treble Clef

Each staff contains a treble clef (the large staff version is good for use in classrooms, and the "huge" staff better for younger children).

Treble Clef (with Guitar TAB)

Each "stave" is a system of 2 staves: the top staff contains a treble clef, the lower staff is guitar TAB.

Treble Clef (with 4-String TAB for Mandolin)

Each "stave" is a system of 2 staves: the top staff contains a treble clef, the lower staff is 4-string TAB suitable for mandolin and other 4-string instruments.

Standard (with 7-String Guitar TAB)

Each "stave" is a system of 2 staves: the top staff contains no clefs, the lower staff is 7-string guitar TAB. (See our notes below on 7-string TAB)

Bass Clef

Each staff contains a bass clef. This manuscript is proving very popular with trombone and double-bass players. (The large staff version is good for use in classrooms, and the "huge" staff better for younger children).

Bass Clef (with Bass TAB)

Each "stave" is a system of 2 staves: the top staff contains a bass clef, the lower staff is standard bass guitar TAB.

Bass Clef (with 5-String Bass TAB)

Each "stave" is a system of 2 staves: the top staff contains a bass clef, the lower staff is 5-string bass guitar TAB. This kind of TAB is hard to find in stores, but is a very popular download!

Guitar TAB

Each staff is standard (6-line) guitar TAB. This is a very popular download!

7-String Guitar TAB

Each staff is (7-line) 7-string guitar TAB. The 7-string guitar is not an instrument you see often, and consequently, no one seems to be publishing 7-string TAB manuscript for it. So we decided we would. (We will refine it as TAB standards evolve)

Bass TAB

Each staff is standard (4-line) bass guitar TAB.

5-String Bass TAB

Each staff is (5-line) bass guitar TAB for 5-string basses. This is another manuscript that is hard to find in stores, but is proving very popular with our web site visitors.

Score

Each page contains a large number of small-sized staves with no clefs. Ideal for arranging scores. (Smaller page sizes are more useful for rough drafts)

Acrobat Needed

You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to print these. It's free.

How to Download

Or, simply click on the link, wait for the manuscript to load and then select "Save" from the file menu. (The manuscript will load in a separate window)

All these files are fairly small (between 11 and 22kb) so they can be downloaded quickly even on a dial-up connection.
