What are the Effects of Different Liquids on Plant Growth?

Hypothesis
I believe that the plant which is fed sugar water will be least affected, the plant which is fed bleach will be most.

Abstract
I constructed my experiment based on my curiosity. I wanted to know, between salted water, sugared water, oil, vinegar, alcohol and bleach, which would affect tropical plants over a period of time. I believed the plants containing salt water would suffer the least effects. Salt, out of all six plants, would the least harmful, because it comes the closest to water. I also believe that the plant containing bleach would differ from the other plants. I believed this because it contains the most acidic components.

To conduct my experiment, I needed six plants of the same kind (tropicals) and in similar conditions. I marked each plant and liquid with a different letter, A through F, so it would be easier to know which plant gets which liquid. I also noted each plant's progress for the next 9 days to see which plants were benefitting from the liquids they were being fed.

Throughout the days in which I conducted this experiment, I concluded that my hypothesis was partially correct. The plant which received bleach, suffered the most. The leaves and soil both changed color and the plant began to die. However, I was incorrect about the salt watered plant being the least affected plant out of the group. Believe it or not, vinegar was the liquid, which had the least effect on the plant. The plant which was fed by vinegar, only had a few leaves missing, while the salted and sugar watered plants had light green leaves and mold in the soil. If I had the chance to do this experiment once again, I would probably use the same amount of plants. I would use two different amounts of different liquids to see which grows the best.

Materials

-6 small plants which are the same:
-height
-type
-color
-size
-6 different forms of liquid
-salted  water
-sugared  water
-oil
-vinegar
-alcohol
-bleach
-1 ml measuring cylinder that measures least 100ml
Procedure
1.  Get your 6 plants and label them with a letter A through F
2.  Get your 6 liquids and label them A through F
3.  Pour each lettered liquid into it'slettered plant
4. Take note of all results possible to see which has  better results
Results
Conclusion
Through my observation, I concluded that my hypothesis that the sugar watered plant would grow the best and the bleach watered plant would be the most affected, was correct. PLANT B grew the best and PLANT F died.
