Hypothesis
The one with water will grow the best.
Purpose
We wanted to see which liquid would make the plants die first. We used four plants, two packages of kool- aid, one 2 liter of Pepsi, tap water and 5 fertilizer sticks.
Materials

  • 4 plants (already potted) in soil
  • 2 packs of Kool -Aid
  • 2 liter of Pepsi Cola
  • Tap Water
  • 4 plates (used to hold the plants on)
  • 1 fertilizer stick
Procedure

We took four plants that were already grown and we fed the first plant Kool - Aid, we fed the second plant Pepsi, we fed the third plant only water, we fed the fourth plant water and fertilizer. We fed it every two days and measured the plants every three days.
Results

The first plant grew 9.5 inches, the second plant grew 7 inches, the third plant grew 9 inches, and finally the fourth plant grew 11 inches.

Conclusion

We thought that the plant with the water and fertilizer was going to grow the best. We predicted correctly.
