PTV3 reformed in December 2003 to play a one-off at thee Coral Room. Despite thee blizzard that night and thee local papers all forgetting to list or advertise thee disconcert it was a sold-out event. Luckily we got people to film everything on several video cameras. Thee sound is pretty good and Doc ov Amoeba technologies has worked ever since on that so NOW! we have a pretty good document to release. Lu(x)z (also ov Amoeba technologies) who live mixes our video lightshows has been working on a master edit ov thee gig too. We intend to release I.T. as a DVD as soon as we can. Given PTV3 is active agen a contemporary version should be available so people know what we're like. To make I.T. more interesting you'll be able to watch either thee band playing from a mix ov camera angles, or thee lightshow without any band imagery as an ambient video to play more like an hyperdelic TV experience. There will also be a voice over interview with Breyer P-Orridge on "BREAKING SEX" and PANDROGENY accoumpanied by photos taken by Lady Jaye from coum ov Djin's ( Gen's) surgical proceedures and a zone listing available CDs by PTV3 and Thee Maesty that are not Pirates or Bootlegs...talking ov which PLEASE do not purchase ANY recordings on Invisible Records. We have spent 2 years or more trying to stop Invisible from pressing or selling any Psychic TV recordings. Thee last ORIGIN ( #3) has a few tracks that are not even BY PTV and are nothing to do with PTV at all. PTV3 played in Washington DC at thee 9.30 Club. Thee stage was fabulous. Big enough for us to all have room to play and "rock out" and thee PA was perfect. Again good fortune smiled on us. Nasty Byte came and filmed that gig for her cable access TV show and afterwards we'll be able to check I.T. all with a view to releasing that as a DVD as well. Tom Coyote was there he was thee original founder ov T.O.P.Y.N.A. and seeing him agen was a joy. Sword Volcanoe Complex were there and helped Amoeba set up screens, generally supporting and assisting PTV3 perform. thanks Bruce! Thee audience were great, apart from one silly person who kept yelling at Djin "Show us yoour tits!" A boringly common refrain that makes us wonder how bright these people are? Djin replied " E will show you my tits if you show me thee inside ov your vagina first." Thee heckler declined and thee following disconcert was amazing. You have to see PTV3 live if you can. Thee consensus from first timers is they've never seen a band be so intense and pure like I.T. often saying this must have been what thee Velvet Underground and thee Exploding Plastic Inevitable were like...Pittsburgh was in a converted car showroom. So there was a tin roof, concrete floor, big glass windows. ALL thee worst things for a live sound. Scott reiter proved his worth by finding a way to tweak thee PA to allow a savage "garage" mantra rock to unfold. Once again thee audience adored thee band. Credit to SOMA and her crew who laid on a wonderful buffet, and created a dressing room decorated with velvets, silks and Psychick Cross branded fruits, even a TOPI TV...truly neo-dandy. PTV3 and their extended famille felt really welcoum. Thank you all at Thee Eye. One thing worth noting, there's nowhere to get food after midnight so pack a lunch! Pittsburgh is a weird town. More like a post-apocalyptic film set than a real=L-if-E place where people dwell. Thee disaster that has befallen thee USA since thee Bush presidencies economic inertia was apparent. Old people and african americans are having their lives wither away into poverty and desolation. Very depressing to see. Thee big cities haven't seen this level ov destruction yet.

E don't know...E spent all today fixing pictures to use in this news zone. E did a load last night butter forget to make them all small enough to fit when uploaded. So E apologise. Saturday has gone and apart from a huge thunderstorm not much happened. Eddie went to Coney Island to check out thee Siren Music Festival. Ross thee builder carried on making concertina walls for our basement art gallery. We should have I.T. open by September. Thee name will be THEE POWDER GALLERY. Thee amount ov work that has gone into emptying I.T. ov 45 y-eras rubbish then creating rooms, offices, workshops and an archive vault is phenomenal. Lady Jaye has supervised thee construction. Eddie and Lady Jaye have been thee motivating forces. All ov us coumbined ( including me, Djin) have brain-stormed and improvised ways to maximise thee space for future coumpagns ov Cultural Engineering.

Still, E promised Eddie before he left that E would upload thee first ever PTV3 group photo. I.T. was taken during our drive back to New York after thee Pittsburgh gig for Soma at Thee Eye. Lu(x)z was collecting a new switching gadget to increase thee ways Amoeba and she can live mix our video lightshows. We asked thee person selling thee box ov tricks to take a snapshot with Alice's camera and here below is thee extended family...

For those not familiar with PTV3 Eddie plays drums and runs PTV3 administration as well as doing all our graphic design. Scott mixes our live sound. Adal is our in house tattooist extraordinaire and was our trusted driver and roadie for this mini-detour. Zef was thee other trusted driver/roadie AND plays electric viola in PTV3. Djin plays noise bass and finds voices. Alice plays bass guitar. Douglas was thee keyboard player BUT alas has had to take a sabbatical ( see other news item). Lady Jaye plays keyboard samplers. David plays hyperdelic lead guitars. Lu(x)z mixes live video materials.

So ironic that thee first ever PTV3 group picture should already be out ov date!

Tomorrow Caleigh is couming over to cook us brunch. S/he has seemingly begun a new TOPI tradition ov feeding my SELF and Lady Jaye, and Caleigh herself too on Sundays. One ov thee most generous and practical gifts we could receive at thee momeant is a nice nourishing meal that we don't have to think about or organise. Especially when thee Ratio Three TOPI ritual ov washing up goes with I.T.

E apologise for not getting back to you sooner...we have been INCREDIBLLY busy and pretty incredible. Maybe incredibly pretty...TG played, Breyer P-Orridge exhibited, Genesis went to thee Basel Art Fair, PTV3 played a series ov gigs...and in between L-if-E was full beyond any expectations until our lips runneth overt.

I.T. is Friday night and we are off to watch "Monster" thee movie. E should be responsible and devote these last few minuets ov consciousness to updating thee site, butter finally E am learning and yearning to claim coum T.I.M.E. each day for my SELF.
