By failing outright to condemn this cankerworm, the Head of State arrogated to himself one more function 'Lawyer for Homosexuals'.

The landscape triumph of Barack Obama, which is the most decisive democratic win in almost more than thirty years as described by many, enthralled not alone the world, Africa and Kenya but also the homosexual community.

As to the world and Africa, I’m uncertain or rather dubious as to how much Obama could do to uplift lives, promote peace and standard, or even contribute with sympathy to the poor or third worlds even if they claim is an African. America has always had a permanent propelled dictum for any incoming president whether black, white, brown or pink – whether liberal, federal, aristocrat, democrat or whatever, to take direction from so that to square the international laws in favour of the US, to eradicate nuisance in front of America and to clutch on economic dominion.

This could be a hard one for Obama to really introduce and expedite the ‘change’ most are heralding which to most or all republicans is a despise, despite the dictum. I understand that many people are delighted at the victory but it’s still a long way to go to attain that envisaged ‘change’ in the world.

But what I am indubious about is the fact the US president-elect has homosexuality at heart. He embraces equality among people in the world, particularly in the US. During his campaign, he was quite certainly vociferous standing for gay rights declaring that separation of gay people from the mainstream had cost their struggle and politics, and hence he didn’t – and still – see(s) homosexuality not as immoral.

I am quite certain that Obama’s stance on homosexuality will epitomise Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki to ponder about reforming homosexuality laws in that country as he cherished what Obama turned to be today. His declaration of 4 November being a public holiday in Kenya says much about his admiration of this young US president.

I am much elated for this move as Kenya homosexual issues could then be tabulated and discussed as a way towards progress as part of celebrating Obama’s victory since he’s so much connected to that country – as it is said.
