CALL FOR ENTRIES!! MR & MISS GAY KZN – 6 December 2008, Pietermaritzburg

The Pink Mynah Festival is hosting the first ever Mr & Miss Gay KwaZulu Natal pageant on the 6 December 2008 in Pietermaritzburg.
The pageant is open to both gays and lesbians who must be 18-35 years, gay and “OUT” and must reside in KwaZulu Natal.

 Also the pageant would provide opportunities for gay guys, drag queen, fem and butch lesbians to enter the pageant. The pageant will include a talent category – this is a first for a gay pageant and any talent may be entered.

 There will also be preliminary judging and screening and only selected individuals will be entered into the finals of the pageant. Andrew Venter (21) from Bulwer said “I am entering to make a difference in the gay community but also to have fun”. Melissa Mageza (22) from Hammarsdale said “This is a great opportunity for me as this is my first major pageant I will be entering”.  The pageant is the finale of the festival and will close the festival with a pageant after party.

The closing date for entries is Monday 3 November 2008 and the organisors have made the entry forms available at various venues in KwaZulu Natal and the venues are:
