Mackenzie King Island

The 5,048 km² Mackenzie King Island is the largest of a cluster of islands located at the western edge of the Queen Elizabeth Islands group. The group of three islands includes the smaller Brock Island (6 km to the west, at top-left in the above image) and Borden Island (18 km to the north, across the Wilkins Strait, see panoramic image).

The island is essentially square-shaped, measuring 75 km by 80 km. Much of the island forms a low-lying landscape that is generally featureless especially in the north and east.
